Project Description: 

Americana at Brand serves as a sophisticated gathering place, luxury shopping and entertainment zone for Southern Californians and marks as BrightView’s fifth retail project for Los Angeles developer, Rick Caruso and Caruso Affiliated Holdings. This bustling urban village feels like it has always been part of the city where a central two-acre grassy knoll featuring an 80-foot dancing fountain is surrounded by 75 shops and restaurants and a playground curving around all sides with a working trolley. 

Landscape Development: 

Americana spans 15.2 acres with landscape covering more than half. During installation, BrightView proved that a tedious production schedule does not compromise quality.  The team installed an abundance of plant material and stunning garden features including more than 1,000 trees, 100 hanging baskets, thousands of specialty flowers and ornamental shrubs, and hundreds of specialty container plants.  Select deciduous trees adding valuable color to the landscape were provided by BrightView’s Tree Company while its Specimen Division contributed significant support and specialized equipment.
