Here’s what you’d do:

The Region Manager will be responsible for delivering results within three key work streams of the BrightView Enterprise Solutions framework:  Develop and maintain a strong subcontractor network, effectively serve our customer sites, and deliver profitable revenue growth.  To accomplish this, the Region Manager will direct a team of field colleagues to ensure service delivery in a manner that meets or exceeds client expectations. The Region Manager will also be responsible for directing a centralized team assigned to their region who ensures work is completed in a timely and quality manner, customers are effectively informed of service status and subcontractors are properly sourced, managed and paid according to contractual terms.

You’d be responsible to:

  • Lead Regional operations team members in the field and office to ensure that the core operational processes of service partner on-boarding/compliance, service partner management, work order management and quality standards are being followed properly
  • Evaluate and recommend improvements in the service delivery and quality standards
  • Effectively communicate with all other BrightView Enterprise Solutions (BES) departments in a manner that fosters teamwork and unity, which ultimately benefits the client.
  • Provide operational feedback to National Accounts in a manner that allows them to effectively communicate to the client.
  • Defines market territories and assigns revenue and margin budgets for each
  • Analyze financial data and effectively utilize information to drive field based operational efficiencies and improvements to obtain the desired financial results
  • Evaluate and implement operational strategies that will position the Company to grow
  • Ensure new employees are properly oriented to the company and trained for their positions
  • Empower employees to take responsibility for their jobs and goals. 
  • Delegate responsibility and hold team members accountable to reaching their goals.
  • Lead, train, monitor, and evaluate the performance of employees to meet individual and team targets
  • Create an inspiring team environment with a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration
  • Support team member’s professional development to foster employee engagement and meet organizational strategic initiatives
  • Work with Human Resources staff to recruit, interview, select, hire, and onboard new employees.
  • Other duties as assigned

You might be a good fit if you have:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in operations or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 5 years of operations management and team leadership experience
  • Minimum education of a four year degree in business related field or equivalent experience required
  • Proven experience leading, developing, and managing teams
  • Experience with budgeting and P&L management
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner
  • Ability to influence and persuade, develop and maintain professional relationships
  • Comfortable with change and ambiguity, acts as a change agent
  • Demonstration of critical thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize and work independently while maintaining strong attention to detail
  • Highly motivated self-starter
  • Strong computer skills including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and expert level proficiency in Excel

And while not mandatory, it would be great if you also have:

  • Experience leading remote teams
