Project Description:

Art, history and nature unconventionally blend at Austin Museum of Art - Laguna Gloria, a national treasure and villa. The property spans twelve-acres across views of Lake Austin where visitors can view art exhibits and submerse themselves in informal educational sessions to realize nature’s undoubted effect on art.

Landscape Development:

The preservation of this historic site called for a full revitalization of the landscape.  BrightView demolished the old and installed the new landscape with historically-inspired elements like budding rosebushes and perfectly trimmed hedges.  The team moved in Italian Cypress and Magnolia trees surrounding the traditional gardens dressed with rich site furnishings like decomposed granite floors, delicate handrails and tranquil fountains, all efforts to maintain the integrity of the original site.
