Dominican University’s beautiful, wooded campus spans 37-acres in the Chicago suburb of River Forest, IL. The university’s mission to “participate in the creation of a more just and humane world” extends to the care of its landscape. Through its partnership with BrightView, the university works to conserve water and promote sustainability in the maintenance of the campus grounds. This includes chemical free maintenance of the university’s lawns, as part of River Forest’s Healthy Lawns, Healthy Family program.
