Project Description:

For one of the country's most academically challenging universities, it's only fitting the Massachusetts Institute of Technology's landscape reflect the curiosity and brilliance of its students. Featuring spaces to learn, socialize and relax, the landscape encompasses all aspects of student life. The landscape is true to the New England terrain, with native plants accented by drumlins and boulders. A central garden planted with regional wetland species includes a drainage basin that filters storm water that can be used for gray water purposes.
