Long Island Branch Delivers Overnight Excellence

It started with a call from a national account client who was looking for a way to bring new life to their facility for the spring season.

At the front of the building sat a series of large concrete planters—each weighing more than 1,500 pounds—filled with soil, but lacking the color and vibrancy the season calls for.

With a 24-hour hospital environment, timing was everything. Patient care and safety came first, so BrightView teams carefully planned the project to take place during evening hours, ensuring minimal disruption while maintaining a safe and controlled work environment.

After visiting a local nursery and selecting a mix of seasonal colors and textures, our teams worked closely with the client to refine a design that would complement the space. Once approved, it was time to bring that vision to life. 

As the sun went down, the enhancement crew arrived on site. The area was secured, safety protocols were put in place, and the transformation began. What were once plain, underutilized planters quickly became vibrant focal points, filled with fresh plantings designed to welcome everyone who walks through the doors.

As the sun rose that morning, the impact was immediate, and so was the feedback.

Staff and visitors alike took notice, and the client shared their appreciation for how the design elevated the entrance.
