Project Description:

Salt River Fields is the first Major League Baseball Spring Training facility built on Indian land in the United States. The Arizona Diamondbacks and Colorado Rockies partnered with the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community to build the 11,000-seat ballpark. In addition to the stadium, the 140-acre complex includes 12 practice fields, clubhouses, training facilities, and team offices. Salt River Fields achieved LEED Gold Certification from the United States Green Building Council and was named Best Sports & Entertainment Project of 2011 by ENR Southwest.
