Project Description:

The 42-story Wynn Resort and Casino is a 192-acre, upscale megaresort boasting 18 pools, a towering 150-foot-tall mountain with a five-story waterfall that cascades into a three-acre lake, and an 18-hole championship golf course.

Landscape Development:

In 2005, BrightView installed the landscape at yet another resort and casino on the Las Vegas Strip for resort owner and developer, Steve Wynn.  As the world’s most expensive resort and casino, BrightView faced an aggressive construction schedule deemed necessary to meet the seven-month deadline for the grand opening.

Services included landscape planting, irrigation, hardscapes, and the construction of 18 pools.  Key to the design was the use of numerous trees relocated from the existing golf course on site.  The most outstanding landmark was the man-made mountain with hundreds of pine trees including one sixty-foot-tall pine.  The massive size of the trees required that all loading, moving, and storage occur at night and their planting occur the following day.

Mr. Wynn was so impressed with BrightView, he requested our services on his new project, Encore.
