Students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in Florida worked with BrightView volunteers to complete an outdoor leaning space, adding educational gardens, a butterfly garden, and a reflective and tranquility garden.

Satisfaction and occupancy rates were being affected by the sub-par landscaping, but after working with BrightView, Asbury Methodist Village's landscaping enhancement was completed in 45 days. Over the course of a five-year contract with Asbury made $1.1 million in savings.

Students at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School were working on an outdoor learning space and after the tragedy of Feb. 14, BrightView offered its services to help improve the area. The students, faculty, and BrightView worked together to finish the garden and installed a reflective and tranquility garden as a place to learn and heal, featuring 17 granite stones for the lives lost in the tragedy.
